The vehicle had in it a 2.8L I6 Engine with Bosch K-Jetronic Fuel Injection. I know I know the 500SEL only has the V8 Engine. That is so true for USA Models. But for those built for the European Market, Mercedes was a lot more flexible as to Engine choice and if you wanted a 6 Cylinder you got it. The engine on the Donor Vehicle could be started and the car ran with this Unit installed.

This Assembly consists of Three Parts. The Fuel Distributor Part Number - 0 438 100 069. Mass Air Flow Sensor Meter Part Number - 0 438 120 115. The Metering Plate on the Air Flow Sensor is Perfect and works as it should with no binding. It moves smoothly and effortlessly.

Everything was cleaned up so the Unit not only works well but looks good too. Please refer to the Hi Res Pics that show this Item in considerable detail from every possible direction and make sure it satisfies your needs. To the best of my knowledge in the US this Set Up was found in SOME BUT NOT ALL W123 Body Style Mercedes Models built from 1978 through 1985 that have K Jetronic Fuel Injection. The Part Numbers of the Units you wish to replace must Exactly match the Part Numbers shown for the various Components of this Assembly. This Unit was removed from a Car with 148000 miles on a working odometer. Finally let me state that this Unit has not been sitting on a shelf for 20 years where the Rubber Seals have dried out rendering this Fuel Intake Assembly useless. I personally removed this Part from a car on February 14, 2020. You are GUARANTEED absolute satisfaction.
