This part was recently removed from a salvaged vehicle, but has been tested as per TSRM, and passed with flying colors. The honeycomb is intact and undamaged. Adjustment screw is still factory covered and untampered with. You can use the electronics out of it in many more Lexus and Toyota cars.
Or, you can use the housing as an upgrade for the stock housing found in the 7MGTE MKIII Supra. Other cars that use these electronics include. For this upgrade, you use only the housing from this. The housing is the same size, but the honeycomb is 25% larger, allowing more airflow. To run properly, you need to also upgrade your fuel injectors at the same time by the same 25%.
Stock 7M injectors are 440cc, so a 550cc injectors gives you the perfect 25% increase. That is the bare minimum for this upgrade. You will run lean if you just change housings and will cause engine failure.
You may also want to think about upgrading your fuel pump, adding an adjustable fuel pressure regulator, and maybe some sort of fuel control and gauges. The electronics from this AFM is the exact some one used in the Supra, so you can install it just like you receive it. Or you can use your electronics, and save this one as a spare for when yours fails. As stated before, the electronics will work for all years of the MKIII. The part number is one number different than the early years, but it is just the latest revision of the part.
