FDMi Velocity MAF housing - suits NISSAN, FORD, PMAS GTR, Z32, Z33, S13, S14, S15, GTT, GTSt cartridge style slot MAF Sensor. FDMi Intake Systems are exclusively designed, developed and manufactured to suit Nissan, Ford, Hitachi and Denso range new age Slot style sensors with 0-5 volt ecu systems.
Our housings are common on Nissan engines and are the perfect replacement for the tired and old 300ZX Z32 MAF Sensor. FDMis unique 5 inch Velocity MAF adaptors are developed using CAD and CFD technology for maximum airflow opportunities, which leads to significant performance gains in smooth air flow. The huge inlet diameter allows for increased air flow over the traditional small MAF housings, which in turn allows for much more air to be ingested and therefore more horsepower to be achieved.
All units are custom manufactured to order using our unique materials infused with a 30% carbon fibre. They are also super light weight, yet strong. One of the best ways to also help improve your engines performance is with a new cold air intake system, and all 3 packages offered are provided with the best quality Filtration to suit. Using our beautifully custom engineered carbon fibre composite intake tubes with, for example, 1 Nissan R35 GTR Sensor will be good for around 5-550hp when your ecu is tuned to suit.
This has been tested by our partners on a Nissan R34 GTT Skyline using a Dyno Dynamics Chassis Dyno. Naturally, correct re-calibration for the MAF curve is required within your OEM ECU software.
Using our 3.5 inch housing with, for example, a single PMAS HPX 2 MAF sensor (available in our other auctions), you can expected even greater gains at around 750-800hp. Correct software calibration is required within your ECU software.
